Oak Gables Golf Club - Oak Course
About
The three nine-hole courses at Oak Gables Golf Club are each named after trees that can be found blanketing the gently rolling hills. Though the landscapes are similar, the Oak, Maple, and Pine Courses each manage to offer something a little different but they are all player friendly enough to be enjoyed by a wide range of skill levels. The Maple Course is touted as “the pride of Oak Gables,” but the Oak Course offers just as challenging a round. The golf course opens with its toughest hole, a lengthy par 5 that is routed around and over a large pond on the left. There is also a creek that cuts right across the fairway. The six par 3s are a unique feature of the layout, ranging in length from 125 yards up to 188. It’s a golf course that will test your skills in a variety of different ways.

Golfer Reviews
Everybody was friendly on the golfers were nice it was a good round.
Short course
This is a very short course - walking it was done in 2 1/2 hours. We had to wait for a group of 4 in front of us. Nice course for a few hours of fresh air
Fast play
This time of year it is important to finish your round. Started at 3pm. Finished 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours. Daylight is now around 6:30. Only drawback is lots of leaves on the fringe which may cost you a few balls you can't find.
Fall golf
Fun course. For the price I thought it wouldn’t be as well taken care of. No complaints.
Scenic but short
3 sets of 9 holes, each course is around 2000 yards. Of all 27 holes they're 80% par 3s. There's also a driving range. With that much land I feel they'd be better off reorganizing into a 9 hole of only par 3s and then a proper full length 18.
Fair
Short course, good for irons . Will not play again
