East Park Golf Gardens

About
East Park Golf Gardens is perfect for families since not only is there an 18-hole course for the adults, there are also numerous activities available for kids including mini golf, bumper cars, a water park, and rock climbing. Located in London, it was voted the city's best golf course in the London Free Press. The mostly flat course has a picturesque setting, making it both easy and enjoyable to walk. The layout features small greens and open fairways that are bordered by thick cuts of rough. The biggest challenge though comes from the abundance of massive oak trees that are situated throughout. The par-3 12th is the signature hole at East Park Golf Gardens. It plays from an elevated tee to a kidney-shaped green that is protected on the right side by two sand bunkers.

Fair price, Awful Tee Times
Arrived and were greeted at the Pro Shop with friendly staff members. Greens fees were prepaid, so we had a quick transaction for our cart and some beverages. Unfortunately, I had to call to reserve carts and only 1 was avaliable for 3 players. Upon arriving at the first tee we mentioned to the Marshall to allow a twosome to tee off before us with one of us walking in a threesome. Boy! Was that a mistake. Through 2nd all the way to ninth tee there was two even three groups waiting on a tee block. It's really the only complaint about the day. The course in the other hand was playing above itself in condition. Fairways were lush, bare patches were at a minimum compared to previous years. Greens surprisingly were quick yet readable, but still like trying to land on a concrete slab. All in all it was a beautiful day to be out on the course.
Swing fast and straight my fellow golfers.
Decent muni course
Decent shape for a executive muni course. Great place to practice short irons.
matthew gosse
Great staff attitude and friendliness, course standards were okay
Great Value
Best bang for your buck in the city. Gets a little crispy mid summer, but is well taken care of. Starters and staff are very accommodating, beverage cart came around 4 times, which was nice. Ended up playing 36.
A fun, fast round
I played this course for the first time with my dad, who remembered it from many years before. We both enjoyed it, especially the front 9. The back was more challenging, and overall the course was well laid out. Great practice with the irons!
Pace of play is bad
Nice well kept course for what it is ( par 3 course at a theme park ) pace of play is usually bad last time I went it was pathetic 4-5 groups log jammed one of which was hitting driver every hole ( again par 3 course ) would like to see a ranger enforcing slow play this course is playable in 2 hours last round took well over 4
Good Golf
It was a beautiful day so that was fine. The set up of the holes are confusing and could use better signage for which direction to go to the next hole. There are a lot of long holes for a new player and yet my friends said opposite as they are seasoned players - the distances are perfect. I would go again.
Quick and easy
Best course for a beginner. Short holes which forces iron play.
