Maple Ridge Golf Club
About
Ongoing improvements over the past 40-plus years have helped contribute to Maple Ridge Golf Club's standing as one of London, Ontario's most popular golfing destinations. Renovations to the design, irrigation, and drainage have ensured that the course is in optimal shape. The layout incorporates a variety of trees, strategically positioning them in just the right areas. Maple Ridge Golf Club's greens are gently sloping and the player-friendly fairways are ample. The landscape is dotted with a number of small ponds that come into play on a few holes. The golf course is gentle enough for beginners but it is also a great value for more advanced players.

Fairway well groomed and the greens were very fast
Cource is in great condition greens are fast and well groomed. Second cut is a little long
Greens are really fast. Fairways are nicely shaped.
Nice Outing
This course is an old established one with lots of mature trees. Hazards are limited to traps here and there; no water to speak of as a hazard. Back and forth layout on tree lined fairways. Second cut was a bit long and made it difficult to find the golf balls. The pace of play was excellent and we had no one in front or behind. The carts are electric and ours ran smoothly with no issues. Road noise is heard on many holes and, of course, it is located beside the airport with many planes taking off and landing. The course has its challenges and was not exactly a piece of cake to play. We enjoyed the round and will play it again at some time (if the price is better).
?????
Poor communication between Maple Ridge and Golf Now. Spoke to GN rep day before my golf booking and he confirmed that a cart was included with my reservation. Maple Ridge informed me my tee time not only didn't include a cart but they refused to sell me one. The girl in the proshop was rude and accused me of lying to her.
Only chose Maple Ridge to play as a last resort. Part of the blame, yes, goes to Golf Now but Maple Ridge refused to even try to accommodate my group. SAD!
Good golfing experience
I recommend this course to beginner and intermediate golfers. The course is relatively easy, but it's organized to be enjoyable.
Just OK
This course is not in terrible condition but one of the greens had bare patches and some of the fairways were patchy too. It's good value for the money. The greens that weren't damaged are in excellent shape.
Narrow course with confused directions to holes
Played first time with cloudy and windy condition. A super slow couple in front of us but wouldn't allow us to pass. Narrow fairways with long roughs, many times groups from other holes hit balls onto our fairways. On the back 9 after we finished the 5th hole we drove to the 8th hole due to confused directions (no signs to next hole). After we found out the error we drove around and finally got back to the 6th hole and hit our tee shots. When we reached our balls on the fairway, a lady on a lawn mower wanred us (with unfriendly tone) not to repeat playing holes. We told her what happen but she seemed didn't believe us, which was not a good experience to us. We eventually didn't finish the round due to gusting wind. Won't be back for sure.
Suffering from hot weather
I've played this course a few times this season. It was in pretty good shape earlier in the year but some of the fairways are now sparse and bare. The greens were in good condition but had been recently aerated but with a fine aerator, not the large core machine so were still playable.
Great course for a beginner
Not bad for a last minute tee time. I’m hit the ball further than the average golfer so the course played very short. The par5s played like long par 4s. No need to pull the driver out of you bag on par 4s.
Great Course But
Unfortunately some young player foursomes slowed the pace so much that it was no longer enjoyable playing. One group finally let us through but the second group did not seem to notice that they were many holes behind the group ahead and did not make an effort to keep up. There is no ranger on the course to keep players on pace. It took us almost 4-1/2 hours to play a course that normally takes 3-1/2 hours. Very upsetting.
Cource is in good shape greens are fast and challenging
Good walking course
Nice course for all levels of golfers; some tight fairways but mostly wide with very few water hazards. Greens in decent shape considering the spell of hot weather locally. No hills to climb makes for a pleasant walk.
Good course for the Average golfer but overpriced
The course was nice and in good condition. As a mid 80s golfer I found the course to be a decent playing level difficulty wise. My brother however is a near scratch golfer and he would definitely prefer a more challenging course. I was very pleasantly surprised with the state of the greens as they were well taken care of and had a good amount of break. All this being said, I think Maple Ridge is a high quality golf course for average golfers, but overpriced when compared with other courses in the same region/length etc. I really don't see how paying $14 in addition to the price of 18 holes just to ride passenger in a cart when the cart was already paid for. Always find that to be such an irritating money grab.
