Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club - Hawk's Island
       About
Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club offers two 18-hole courses and one par-3, executive course. The golf courses are spread across nearly 400 acres of ponds and mature forests. Hawk’s Island is the nine-hole course, situated southeast of the other 36 holes at the club. The terrain is mostly flat but there is some undulation in the large, bent grass greens. The signature hole of the golf course is No. 5, which requires a downward approach shot to a tricky island green that is flanked by bunkers on both sides. The Hawk’s Island Course is ideal for juniors or beginners, but it is also great for golfers who just want a quick but challenging round.

Meadow-Nest!
I prefer the Meadow-Nest 18 hole course! The Par-3 course is challenging!
Nice track
Variety of holes. It's not Meadows though, more like Marshes
Excellent calue
Got a really good deal on Gokfnow
The bunker sand was the best I’ve seen this year
Excellent
Course in awesome shape tee to green. Flat course, pretty straight forward and not much trouble. 3.5 hours following 2 groups ahead. That's pretty danm good!
Good course horrible marshal
Course was overbooked took us 5 hours through 17 then on the 17th hole the marshal told us this was the last hole we could play at 8:15pm with 45 minutes of light left. Easily could have got the last hole in with plenty of light to spare. He also came up to our group multiple times during the round and was rude.
Pace of play
We booked through Golf Now. After 1hour and 15 minutes we had played 3 holes. There was no Marshall that we saw and there were 2 golfers ahead of us . The female had no idea about golf etiquette or how to golf. After 3 holes my son and I decided to quit. We reported this to pro shop and asked for a 9 hole raincheck. We were told because we had pre paid through Golf Now, the course had not taken any money from us so no raicheck. We had paid for cart. We were also told to contact Golf Now for refund. I called Hawk Ridge 2 days later and explained situation to another employee who was more helpful and was told we could have a 9 hole raincheck for cart. I will not return or book through Golf Now again
Good value. Room for improvement.
Nice course. Greens and fairways in good condition. Tee boxes not so much. No on course service of food and beverage— likely due to staffing issues. Need to get that fixed as it tends to be chronic at Hawk Ridge.
But on balance, a very good overall golfing experience.
