Bonaire Golf and Country Club - Island/River

by far one of my favourite courses. I was a little disappointed in the tees and fairways. I found them a little rough around the edges. I haven't been here for 2 years and thought they were better last time I played.

Of tee decks were absolutely garbage.

This used to be a beautiful course however it appears that little to no maintenance is being performed on t-blocks, greens and many of the fairways. I haven't seen a course in this area as bad as this one has become. I used to play more often 3 to 4 years ago before it was sold but today will be my last time.

Nothing special. Straight fairways, back and forth.

We teed off early during the week with a new player. The members and regulars were friendly. We made it around in just under 4hrs walking. The greens are great with lots of movement. A little slower than I’m use to but very consistent and what would be expected up there. There was some tee boxes that were under repair but nothing that affected our game. Overall the course was lots of fun and provided a good test. Will definitely return.

They need to repair and expand the tee boxes.

And perhaps move the tee markers more often to spread the damage.

The tees did not come close to living up to the condition of the rest of the course.

Great course, challenging but not too hard. Can sometimes get a little slow waiting for people but this round was moving well. Did 18 holes in just under 4 hours.

Hi I booked 18 holes walking yesterday, June 16 at Bonaire golf course, but I only played seven holes due to heavy rain which caused me to cancel my round. The pro shop would not give me a rain check since I booked it with GolfNow and therefore I request a credit for the next round that I book your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
