Greens slow but ok but fairways and tee boxes overgrown: needs some TLC

Fairways and tee boxes need some work/ greens slow but ok: pretty course along the Ottawa river has lots of potential

This course overlooks the Petawawa/ Ottawa river and is a beautiful view from the club house. The club house has a bar and restaurant with good food and cold drinks.

The course plays easily from tee to green with a few challenges along the way. All in all, the course is quite forgiving with open fairways and comfortable approaches to the greens. There are a few hazards - water, bunkers and geese....lots of scat on one of the greens because of the geese.

It was a very hot humid day and the cover of shade was sought after on many holes. It was almost inviting to see the river and want to go and take a dip before moving on to the next hole---we didn't attempt this though.

I would recommend this course for beginner to advanced players as it is a challenging course. Walking this course might be difficult because of the hills and valleys and carts are available--electric carts.

Beautiful course with outstanding views! Moe Norman lounge is very inviting pub style restaurant with great food portions and a quaint patio overlooking Ottawa River. Course was in great shape with the back nine following the river. Challenging but still fun! Staff very friendly as well!

A need to play if in the area!
