Saugeen Golf Club - Sunrise Nine

I could play all 27holes over and over here. I really enjoyed all of the courses. The course was in fantastic shape. Greens were soft and rolled true. The fairways were plush and tee boxes flat. Some really fun holes on this course. I was told they have a new greens keeper and the member I played with said he has busted his butt in the last year and really gotten the course in great shape. Hats off to him and his crew. The driving range and chipping green with a sand trap is a cart ride away but nice. The pro shop is nice and has shorts, shirts, balls, clubs and shoes for purchase, and the workers were all pleasant. The snack shop serves some real cold beer! The upper patio is beatiful, would be nice having some high top tables up there to see over the glass wall. The patio outside of the snack shop is a great touch with lots of great views of the course. Def would return if I am back in the area

Nice course, however the staff were quite confused.
They had us play 9 holes the check back in the see what 9 holes we’d play next.
It’s a 27 hole course so there are 3 separate nines which could be played.
We checked back in after our first nine, and it took 10 minutes for them to reel us which none to play next.
We got told, then went to that tee off block only to be moved again to a different nine.
Oh yes, they told us which carts to use, we got all our clubs loaded, only to be told they made a mistake, they told us the wrong carts to use so we had to transfer our clubs to other carts.
Very confused staff.....

Excellent course..staff are very friendly.. course is in excellent condition.. very challenging but fair.

Played a round of golf and had a bite to eat. Course is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Had never played here before but will be our number one spot when we are in the area. Will elect to eat elsewhere tho because the food wasn't very desirable.
My only suggestion is implementing a dress code of some type.

Overall a great course but there was a group of 8 ahead of us that seemed to be having a birthday celebration at each hole. Where are your marshalls?

This course is in great shape. After a prolonged dry spell in the area it was a pleasure to hit off soft lush fairways. The course itself was not overly busy. This is one of the best maintained golf courses in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful and the carts are in tip top shape. For the right price this course is a great deal.

Whether you play Sunrise ,Legacy or Sunset ,Saugeen Golf Course is in great condition. It by and far the best course in the area and will challenge any level of player while being very playable. There are many memorable golf holes throughout the 27 holes. It is particularly memorable in the fall when the leaves turn. Once you are finished you game check out the restaurant and patio , you won't be disappointed.

Had the privilage of playing all three 9's this weekend and enjoyed everyone of them.
The Course was in great shape for the most part but the greens had some issues left over from the winter.
Pro and his staff were fantastic to deal with.
Can't wait for next year.
