Northern Dunes Golf Club
About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Average course with decent layout
Wouldn't pay full price for this particular course but with the golf pass discounts its worth it.
Nice
Nice course, enjoyed the day. Although the course does need a little attention in some areas. Tee boxes are particularly in need of help. Fairways are fair to good and greens are quite good. It would be nice if there was another set of tees between white and blue, or move the whites back from the reds.
Great layout
I live in the area and it’s one of my favourite places to play.
Quiet and challenging
Played this course multiple times this year. There are a few challenging holes and the Par 5s are good. Give it a try if you are in the area. Watch out for 17 and 18.
Better than last year!
Interesting layout... Some great holes. Tee boxes need work, greens are far better than last year
Enjoyed our first round
Big thanks to the staff at Northern Dunes. The course was in pretty good shape, greens were in great condition for a public course. This all resulted in a fast pace of play. The course is forgiving but difficult, offering equal amounts of open landing areas to difficult shot shapes, making you think smart golf here. This was our first time playing this course, and it will be on our to do list next year! Thanks again for an enjoyable round!
Great course
We always enjoy playing Northern Dunes while on vacation. Great course and staff are very friendly.
