Ugh!
With the course being in the middle of nowhere, I expected not many people to be there. 3 cars in the lot at midday. The conditions (light rain) created some problems on the course. The greens were cut either that day or the day before and the mowers did not collect the clippings. When putting, the ball collected lots of clippings and veered off course easily because of that. There were a lot of weeds all over the course, tees, fairways, rough and greens. I gave course staff friendliness an average score, but that was only because of the lady manning the pro shop. Very friendly and willing to help. The grounds crew, not so much. Pretty rude in some instances, I seriously doubt I'll ever play that course again. Off course amenities were pretty much non-existent from the course being so remotely located.
Deceptive
The course looks easy but once you realize that the borders of most fairways is dense Ontario forest you appreciate having a straight drive.

Had a fantastic round The conditions were great, a few spots on the greens are recovering for another Canadian winter
Beautiful scenery with a relaxing pace
Hello and thank you for your review…but I feel compelled to critique it…you obviously paid the discount price online…and know nothing about this course or northern Ontario golf courses… we run on a limited budget as well as limited staff..and do the best we can with what we have as well as being weather dependant.
I don’t appreciate your Ugh!
If you have nothing nice to say…guess what? We don’t want to hear it.
And don’t care if you choose not to visit on the discount fee again. Also read all your reviews..you need to get a job. And leave the hard working people alone.
