COURSE WAS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE
First time playing this course snd overall I was very happy with it. A good course layout. Enough water hazards and sand traps to be challenging but not frustrating. Love the fact that you could drive carts on any fairway and go up to about 15 yards from the green. I will definitely be back.
Dry summer conditions
Course was in decent shape considering the dry spell. Greens were good and well kept.
No rangers
No rangers on course or at start, players had to ask who was next.
Staff drove past twice and did not say hello. Or smile:
Pace of play was slow.
Course was in good condition.
Problem with staff at golf course
When I checked in at the Stittsville course I was asked for my receipt which I presented to the person in the clubhouse. When I booked online my round of golf include a cart but when GolfNow sent me an email receipt it did not show that the cart was included so the attendant wasn’t willing to include it. I needed a cart since I can no longer walk 18 holes. After I insisted that the cart was included she called her supervisor and he instructed her to grant me a cart. Maybe if the email verification from GolfNow included this detail it would simplify my check-in experience in the future.
Fall golf
I played at Stittsville Oct. 21st and the weather was great. The course itself was in good condition although the tee boxes could definitely do with some work.
A gem for sure
An extremely well maintained course and challenging but fun to play.
We had fun!
Played a casual round with my girlfriend, got a great rate on a Hot Deal price. Will be back!
Good value, pleasant staff
It can be a wet course following rainy weather, but otherwise it’s a fun track with a challenging layout and fast greens. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the prices are reasonable.
