Decent
Fun little course in poor condition. Starter made us start at second hole because we were five minutes late - I would have been more sympathetic if there was a group behind us but there wasn't. Many of the bunkers were unplayable.
Tee off areas bad, grass on fairways burned. Holes are close together
Would recommend
This was a good course to play for sure. Great value. Just the right amount of challenge. Some of the fairways were a little beat up and the layout is a little confusing. Would recommend this course.
There’s a reason it’s the cheapest place to play.
Very disappointed/ concerned they have moved to a standard 2 golfers per cart. Our group prepaid for green fees with cart which under social distancing rules And regulations states 1 golfer per cart. Upon arrival we were informed we would be placed 2 golfers per cart. This is not an acceptable measure and we were charged an additional $10 per golfer to take our own carts in contradiction of official policy. Nothing in the booking stated this “updated” information. Conditions were very poor and design sucks, greens and Tee boxes are all very close together. Save your money , pay more and play at a real Golf course.
Saturday madhouse..
Thank you however I found the course to be crowded, not in good conditions, with wait times of upwards 10 minutes at holes 2 to 18.
Hi Riaz3204142. Thanks for taking the time to review your recent round.
We are disappointed to hear it didn't exceed expectations. Our longest round on July 18th was 4 hours and 10 minutes. We aim for a time par of 4 hours and most rounds this day achieved this but at 3pm we did see a slight peak (by 10 minutes).
If you are looking for a more manicured championship level course, we do recommend playing our Bethesda Grange Course at Rolling Hills. We do hope we see you back soon to try our other challenges on property.
Confusing at times
Course layout confusing at times. Only the greens and tee boxes are green from this drought so fairway hits roll an extra 40 yards.
Suggestion to course: write the hole number on the tee markers.
Great value.
Rude staff, grounds dry
Check in was ok. The man at the first tee was very crude and didn't look like he wanted to be there. He approached us with his clipboard and a cigarette hanging from his mouth. He was noticeably annoyed when he had to go over the new rules for us because we were first timers at the course. Other than the one makeshift snack and refreshment bar there was nowhere for us to buy anything. I know it has been a dry season so far but the grass was VERY DRY and brown.
Dried out course like I've never seen before.
This course is usually very well kept. We were very surprised at how dried out this course was today. Ball after ball would go out of bounds that would normally be fine bc the balls wouldn't stop rolling on this brown course all day. Brutal. Water your course!
Pace of play
Due to the weather, the course was bone dry. 2 weeks ago when my group was 2 minutes behind the pace, we got a lecture from the marshal when there was no group behind us.
This round, the twosome in front of us played through the foursome in front of them. We became the group behind the foursome. We had to wait for 5 to 10 minutes at each hole after hole #3. There was no marshal in sight and we had to suffered through the rest of the game.
Thanks for taking the time to review your round. We are glad to hear you enjoyed all aspects of your round, we hope to see you back again soon!
