Pace of Play
Hole #1 to 9 were fine. Started from hole #10, we have to wait for at 8 to 15 minutes per hole. Most of the time, at least 2 teams were waiting to tee off. At hole #13, we reported the situation to the pro shop. The marshal came and told us that it's packed all the way from hole #10 to 18 so it is normal and not any team playing slowly. We were shocked and angry to hear the answer. This means that Rolling Hills purposely overbooked so many teams and caused the 8 to 15 minutes wait at each hole!!! Two of my foursome was so sick of the wait that they left at hole #14. This is really ridiculous! I cannot believe this is happening during the pandemic when the course should make sure that the distance between each team is long enough to be safe. I'm so disappointed with Rolling Hills. I've played at all courses at Rolling Hills for over 10 years on every weekend and sometimes even weekends too. This is unacceptable!!
Good course, awful marshal
Good course and great value for money but the marshal was very rude. An old European lady was having difficulty communicating with him and he was being very rude and condescending towards her because she wasnt speaking English very well.
Very well maintained and great staff service!
Really enjoyed playing this course. The course is very well maintained and the staff is super friendly. Very well organized and pace of play is just right.
Great course for beginners
Great course for beginners have been there a couple times now and have enjoyed it every time.
Short golf season this year but made the most of it.
Too many leaves and slow pace
The greens and surrounding areas were covered in leaves making it difficult to find the ball at times. The management pay little attention to keeping the greens clean.
The pace was very slow as they group people with cars and those walking.
This is a 62 course that takes 4 hours to complete.

Hi Ktl682. Thanks for taking the time to review your recent experience. We reviewed our pace of play on the Classic course for yesterday, and confirmed our pace of play was 3 hours and 30 minutes. That is out time par for our course but do see our front 9 was timed at 1 hour 30 minutes and the back 9 at 1 hour 50 minutes, so understand the back 9 would have had some additional waits in comparison. As part of our COVID precautions, we have increased our spacing between tee times and that spacing has not changes since we opened for the 2020 season.
