Great course with lots of opportunities for both a good score or ....

Bunkers need work but hopefully it's just because it's early in the season.

A group of my friends and I have been getting together for 56 years now, and for almost 40 of those we have been playing golf over four or five days at Warkworth. We’re all retired now and that has expanded to regularly playing there every few days or as much as we can. John and his team keep the course in excellent condition throughout the year no matter the conditions and their hospitality and friendliness is always evident. They are willing to do all they can to accommodate you while making sure things function smoothly for everyone. During the pandemic they have operated responsibly and reasonably not overwhelming you with encumbering rules and regulations while at the same time respecting all the rules themselves. Through all this, the difficult opening and closing for a small business and their employees, they still managed to keep the club, the course, in excellent condition for all of us so when the green light finally did come, they were ready to open on a dime with the same great course and service as we have always come to expect for so many years. To John and your whole team there, well done in a very difficult year, you deserve our thanks and praise for an excellent job well done in very difficult circumstances. Keep up the great work you do for all of us.

To everybody else, you will not find a better value, great course, well looked after, scenic, challenging and teachable for the newer golfer, enjoyable day with friends and family, day in the country, close to home from many cities, than the Warkworth Golf Club, a gem in the countryside as far as we’re concerned. We’ve all played many courses in all those years, and still do periodically, but we always come back to Warkworth, it feels like home now.

I really enjoyed the overall experience that the course supplied. The fairways were in much better condition than I expected due to the lack of rain in the general area. The greens were also in excellent shape. The only negative that I can see mentioning are some of the cart paths, which were like tractor trails. But overall, I would recommend this course to my friends.

As well as keeping course in great shape during this very dry summer, they are continously improving course as the year goes along. Great work John and Brad.

Played Warkworth many times in the past but only once this year. Course is in the best shape ever .Greens are excellent. Fairways lush and green. Tee blocs spacious and green. A great place to play

I have been golfing at Warkworth for the past five years and more in the last two years as have found the course to be in very good condition and good pricing. I also enjoy the staff who are friendly and accommodating.

My only concern involves league players who last year would not let us proceed with our game as I was told leagues take precedence. They advised us to go forward on the back nine until we found an opening which we were not able to do, so received a rain check in stead. I talked to the owner and he said he did not support this practice, but this happened again earlier this week. This time I was not willing to give up my spot and again I checked with the owner who again supported our right to keep our tee time slot.

Thank you to the owner for respecting our rights even though we are not members. Would be helpful to have this cleared up.

Friendly staff / very accommodating / well kept /

From our greeting in the clubhouse to lunch after the round what more could we ask. The course was nearly full of golfers, mostly in 3somes and yet we finished in just over 3 hours.

The owner even stopped and checked on us around the 12th hole. We also spoke to 3 on course staff as they let us play through their work area.

Lunch was well prepared and served with a smile and although I had to buy lunch for both of us it was awesome.

Good golf course, I can use all my clubs and nice scenery.

The layout in areas was a little confusing in getting from one hole to the other as there are very little distinct cart paths. Trees overgrown presented a very narrow window on a couple of holes. All in all, we enjoyed playing the course and would definitely play here again.

Fantastic day. A very enjoyable course. Had to to play the front nine twice because of the back nine was closed for green maintenance. Because of that the pace was slower than one would expect.

I love playing this course! Friendly staff to go along with a fantastic 18 holes of scenic golf. Greens are in great shape already.

Warkworth is a lovely course. It has a few very challenging holes and like most courses, has a few beautiful holes. If you get this for under $35 with a cart, take it. Totally worth the money.

I would recommend this course

Third time playing here after moving to the area in September. Reasonable prices, great condition,(specially for December!), friendly, helpful staff. Course is quite scenic in rolling country with water in play on several holes. Well kept mostly large greens. Front nine seems a bit harder than the back.
