A good challenge in a wonderful setting.
Always a pleasure to come back to Owl's Head. Yes the place is a little remote but the region is beautiful and the course very enjoyable. Set on the side of a mountain, the course offers great views and has a great mix of flat and hilly holes. Greens have good ondulations and beware of the 9th and 18th who can be brutal with front pin placement. Greens are in good conditions but fairways can sometimes retaining a lot of water after a rainy day.
Beautiful layout, maintenance is close to lacking
This a beautiful golf course (layout) and fun to play. I played it 2 years ago and wanted to go back since. But this time, i noticed a little slack on maintenance, bad grass and clover starts growing in some places. Too bad because this place is a gem that should be played but it will take a bit more care to be considered a top class course.
Immaculate
I've been playing OwlsHead for over 22 years since it opened. This year, the conditions are immaculate.
