Delta Country Club is a 9-hole, semi-private track that offers an enjoyable round of golf for the average hacker, particularly the beginner who struggles with length off the tee. The short length of the course (2,548 yards with several par 4s under 300 yards), and the laid-back demeanor of the people make it the ideal place for the first-time golfer. Stray shots find big, mature trees. If you’re spraying the ball at all, you’ll find yourself short of the green, relying on your short game to get up and down for par. Only one set of tees here for golfers.
Getting there : From Hwy. 19 north, turn left on FM 1529, then drive straight to the course.
