Pine Ridge Golf Course

Built in a gorgeous setting in 1986, Pine Ridge has gained a reputation for its ease and beauty over the years. This short course, which plays under 6,000 yards from the back tees, is wide open, void of bunkers, and has basic, medium-sized greens. There are a few trees to contend with, but if you can deal with the water hazards that impact a decent amount of holes there’s nothing else in the way of a career round.

Length is not an issue, so if you have any problems with your woods off the tee, don’t hesitate to hit your irons. Longer hitters who keep it in the fairway will manhandle this course. Four of the five par 5s play around 450 yards from the back tees, three of which are on the par 37 front nine. The front also features two par 4s well under 300 yards. The back nine is a bit more difficult with a 526-yard, par 5, a 215-yard par 3, and two par 4s over 400 yards.

Getting there : From Loop 286, travel 2 miles and turn up Pine Mill Rd. to the course.
