Silver Brooke Golf Club
About
Located in Lisle just north of Toronto, Silver Brooke Golf Club is carved out of forests of maples, birches, and pines. The front nine is more heavily wooded than the back nine, which feature more traditional links-style holes. The golf course’s scenic landscape is seeded with blue grass and fescue that nicely contrasts with the white sand bunkers throughout. There are tight fairways and numerous water hazards including several narrow ponds that make accuracy a necessity. Golfers are quickly introduced to the challenges of Silver Brooke Golf Club with a par-5 that seems short but features a tricky narrow fairway, a trap 225 yards out on the right, and an out-of-bounds on the left.

The WORST golf experience of my life
We got called back from the first tee because the pro shop said they under charged us for a cart. The delay got us behind a 4 some with beginner players playing from the tips (young guys…go figure)..no marshal and no respect, they did not allow my wife and I to play thru…3 hours for the front 9. The back nine surprisingly got worse …3 guys cut in on us at the 13 tee…we waited 30 mins there to tee up…absolutely a joke. No Marshall….we quit after the 13th hole because of this…I have been playing golf for 50 years all over the world. This experience rates as the worst ever…and I’ve had some bad ones. Silver Brooke needs to take charge and police the disrespectful folks they allow on their property…all tolled the day cost $130….not worth $1.30 in my opinion

Extremely disappointed
Better Than You Think
I live in the area and play this course usually 7 to 8 times a year. Given the extreme drought we have experienced this summer, I applaud the grounds keeping staff with be able to keep this hidden gem in near pristine condition.
The fairways and green were immaculate!
I have a hard time saying anything positive about Silber Brooke because I just don't want too many others to find out and ruin it. Alas, to be honest, Silver Brooke - Dollar for dollar - is without a doubt the best course in the area.
Great course, maintained well.
Greens were in great shape and fast. Lovely variety of holes, definitely will play again.
Nice course
Front nine seems like a completely different course from the back nine but it’s a nice way to break up the round. Conditions were good and the layout was nice.
Needs a Marshall, and a pro who understands golf course management
Every good golfer know course management is everything. Unfortunately there is none at this course. Pace of play is extremely slow, and the pro is anything g but professional. He tends to blow off customer opnions while stilling behind his big desk feeling important.a A Marshall would greatly improve the overall experience of this course. Until then, there are plenty other courses around where I can take my business and have a more enjoyable game.
Fair
Overall a nice course, fairly open but with some challenging holes mixed in. Fairly priced for the course and area. Staff has been friendly and helpful whenever I have played there.
