Edna Country Club

I'm sure at one time this course was well maintained, but it has been neglected for some time now. The girl in bar/rest. was very friendly and helpful. There was no maintenance of course going on, except for sprinklers on the 1st and 2nd holes and we had to turn them off in order to play the holes. Grass needs cut, signs for holes need painted and repaired. Cart paths are in poor condition. We had a 10:00 tee time and got a bucket of balls before tee time - The balls had not been picked up from day before because there were way too many for them to be from any players before us. We found balls all over the course. We were the only players all a.m. and none had come in when we left at 1:30. We were probably their only customers for the day. We will go back only because the online price is right and we didn't have to worry about getting backed up or playing thru - had course to ourselves and could take our time working on our swings, etc.

For a inexpensive 9 hole course, it was great. They have two separate sets of :T: boxes for the first nine and second nine that are separated considerably to give the impression of a true 18 hole course. We paid $5.95 on a golfnow hot deal--with a cart--cant beat the course for that price---ALSO course is long--over 6200 yds with 3 LONG par 4s (410, 420, and 430+).
