Course was enjoyable to play. The canal and river that runs through the course is poorly marked, so they are very difficult to see from the tee box or fairway. No yellow stakes at all when the water crossed the fairway. They just put red stakes on the far outside corners so it makes it appear that there is a lateral hazard when in fact the water crossed the fairway.
I had played this course many years ago when it was just 9 holes and about 8 years ago when it was 18 holes. I was surprised when I arrive and found there are now 27 holes. When I checked in at the pro shop, the staff was excellent and very helpful. They indicated that I was the first one to use the GolfNow option and thanked me for choosing to play at their course. I was a little unsure when I saw that the yardage indicated that the course is fairly short by today's standards. However, I was very pleasantly surprised as it was a course that required every shot in the bag. Two of the nines are park land courses and one of the nines is a new links style. I truly enjoyed my round and with the rate I payed, it was perfect.
