Club de Golf Select

I played there last week before going back to montreal and the conditions were not great. The greens were very slow and soft. The fairways were only cut on the front nine, the back nine was not good. The staff was slightly rude but the breakfast was delicious!

This is the kind of course that worth to play. Great condition even in fall.
Pros: Layout, fairway conditions. Fun to play and challenging at the same time. Great design.
Cons...not really...but there is geese on some holes, so you have to watch where you step. Greens are a bit too slow...

Poor irrigation on some holes. Greens are in fair condtions but much much too slow. If you don't want to spent some money than this course is for you otherwise you have 2 fine courses in the same area: Le Diamant for slick greens and les Quatre Domaines which are both challenging and in fine conditions. You may also try Glendale at a more moderate price.

Not a favorite. Somewhat long but with a few weord holes and very slow greens. Conditions were ok but nothing great. Staff was friendly. GPSsystem a litle annoying. If you pass the limit by 5 feet the cart stops. You must back up exactly the same way you came in. Not practical at all.

We got there an hour early and ordered breakfast...3 eggs bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast and coffee for 7$. As we were eating an old farm dog came by and sat next to us..very relaxed country feel to the clubhouse. The driving range was nice 10$ for 80 balls..golf carts were state of the art with GPS system integrated with all of the yardage for the course at your fingertips. I don't recommend renting the lower quality clubs for 15$ as we received a cracked driver and right handed putter for a left handed set of clubs...in their defense it was nearing the end of season and staff claims some students had been using the clubs earlier in the week...not fun to find out once on the green! They do offer top of the line Taylor made clubs for 45$. As for the course, nicely manicured and the water hazards seem to surprise...great sand bunkers with nice sand clear of stones. The greens are quick without many surprises. You can order food and beverages directly to your location from the GPS on your cart...7$ beer etc...18th hole was quite intimidating with a narrow aproach and water hazard on the left...overall a real nice course 20 minutes from Ville St-laurent off the 15 N in Mirabel.

The positive
- The greens were in perfect condition
- Nice golf course with some really nice holes (17th and 18th)
- Cantine delivered quickly, food prepared by the owner that delivered herself was good (chicken sandwich)
Definitely worth what we paid for!

The negative
- They seem to have drainage issues, a lot of wet spots on the fairways
- I didn't like the fact that if it was raining, the Select was not responsible to give us another golfing day, it was up to Golfnow, I was told by the owner that apparently you lose your money if that happens as they are not responsible to refund

This may be a litlle hidden treasure .I was quite surprise to see that this course was in such great condition.Some challenging holes to keep everyone on their toes.

I would say that this place haven't been discover yet by most golfer aroud. The tee off are nice. The fairway weld cut, no patch. The green perfect. The sand trap soft ( yes I went there....) The cart is the state of tecnologie. you put your score in and then you send your score to your email. You oreder what you want fron the cart and they bring that to you.
For me the only thing that is sad is that on the nine hole there is no club house or what so ever.

And for the price this place for me is a 9/10

better than expected.small greens well placed bunkers,rough sand,women's tees odly placed.friendly staff-5 1/4 hours in 30 degree weather was rough.

I would highly recommend this golf course. Challenging and very well maintained. Some of the fairways are narrow and some of the greens are very hard and challenging. Overall a great course to play at.

hole 17 is a nice par 3 with green on a plateau.
green are well maintained.fairways are fairly good.
hole 18 is a tough hole to score.

The greens needs to look like a real golf, this is the biggest problem the way I see it.

This track has the potential to be something really nice. Staff is OK but there are things they could have recommended. If you don't mind mosquitoes, horse flies, black flies, then this track is not bad...staff could have told us about this and we could have done something about it. First cut was really long and greens were not in very good shape...the kind of conditions you would expect in April. I never thought I would say this but the GPS in the cart was very annoying displaying ads every 5 seconds + it will stop the cart if you go some place you are not supposed to, for example, a wet area on the fairway and it will control the cart speed...may have been wet in the morning but might be perfectly fine by end of the afternoon. It is a good course for the money but I doubt I will go there again.

This is an average course with its fair amount of challenge. I played on a Monday and ended up playing alone. Gave me a chance to work on technique without being pushed from behind or slowing pace of play.

The price was perfect because of Golf Now otherwise I find it expensive, considering the many golf courses closer to home, and kinder staff members and owners.

Course condition quite good. Great fairways and good greens. Layout fair. Clubhouse not the greatest but the service and food were good. Easy to get to from Montreal.

Nice local golf. Not very difficult. Very small green in good condition. The fairways are not in a condition to play summer rules.
