Not for the average golfer.
You need to be very accurate on this course. The links style course is very unforgiving for being off centre with your driver. Can ruin your whole day hence the average rating. Greens were nice and the course is very different from your average Calgary golf course. Bring lots of golf balls.
Perfect fall course
Really enjoyed playing this course, especially with no leaves to contend with. Will definitely golf here again.

good course a little windy on Friday, but not cold, had a subpar round!
This course is not ready for prime time
Greens are in very good condition. The fairways need work as identified by the seeding progress, the traps are in fair shape but the Tee boxes are in poor shape.
Pleasant Surprise!
After reading reviews claiming that the course is in a rebuild and therefore not worth it, I was hesitant. I was very pleased with the course conditions considering there virtually wasn’t a course two years ago. Greens were slow but I understand they’re letting them grow out to get ‘em nice and healthy. Still played beautifully. Shot my round of the year and will definitely come back.
The grind is on at Wingfield
This course was neglected hard by the previous ownership and as I result they shamefully let the course go. This new ownership group has been pushing really hard to get things up and running. It still has a journey ahead of it remediation wise but they are making all the right moves to get the course healthy again. Good links design, fun lay out, greens are in excellent shape. I like aviation so the planes landing adds a little fun intermission to the whole once in while. At 45$ I would play this track all day.
the course conditions have improved
The course put in new greens and sand traps. Some of the fairways are still in rough condition but its coming along. The staff here is friendly and overall i see improvements from playing a few years back..

Great course , decent shape . Only complaint is the 42$ for a golf cart I found that pretty steep and crazy
Course shape
It's been a while since I played this course prior to the new ownership. From where it is now to when I last played under the old ownership the course is a 100% in better shape. The greens were the best I've ever seen. Great course and good value for a city course. Will be playing it again and will also buy a membership next year.
Poor shape
Extremely disappointed in this course. The shape of the course was bad, fairways overgrown and the rough was probably a better lie. Will not be back, slow play but that isn’t the courses fault but players without any ability or situational awareness.
Coming along nicely
First time since closure, and the course is coming along. Greens are soft and putted true but slow.
