Wingfield Golf Club - Runway/Hawk's Nest

My wife and I were paired with 2 very enjoyable young ladies. Lot of laughs on the coarse and after for supper. Left knowing we have have 2 new friends and would love to golf together another time.

Seriously considering it my homeground, I love everything about the course.

Well maintained. Busy coarse and bottle necks occurs frequently. Great coarse for all levels of players. Staff was amazing. Food is also very good.

Played with my mother, and we had a really good time. Kind of a novelty having the planes right overhead. The greens are nice and the course is in Great shape! I would totally go play again.

Greens could use some love (ball marks wasn’t too bad). Just very squishy.

Tee boxes were either excellent or not tended too.

Had a very windy and rainy 18 hole session but overall really enjoyed the experience here. Challenging for a beginner like me but not too difficult. Beautiful scenery with the mountains and city in the distance. Good price for a late afternoon 18. I'll be back!

Great value for the money, the course is in much better shape now than many years ago, they’ve done a great job to improve it. I’d rather play here without having a huge backlog of people waiting on every hole like on other courses. Played a nice round without waiting and finished in good time.

A comfortable, mostly flat course with minimal trees makes for an easy going course to navigate. Still a challenge with plenty of sand. Two criticisms, it gets windy and there are lots of mounds that barely get mown on the side of the fairway making a decent but slightly off shot easily turn into a lost ball even when you see where it went.
