Disappointed
The greens were slow and spongy
If you stood on top of the clubhouse you can see the entire golf course as there were very few trees.
Under constant construction
This coarse has potential. However this course instead of getting better has gotten worse. They do not invest in trying to make this a bettet course. No grass seeds / fertilizers . This course awful conditions and not worth the money they want.$15 is what this course is worth to play. I would not recommend this course to anyone
Underappreciated
The owners were very nice and they try their best with the resources they have available. The course was quite dry since it hadn't rained in probably a couple of weeks, but the greens were in surprisingly good condition, especially on the later holes. Great deal at the hot deal price, would visit again
Excellent practice course!
Course is still consider new seeing as it was built from the ground up a few years ago. Dirt is very hard in areas (including sections of the fairway). Almost clay like, so quite bad. Weed growing in the bunkers and on the fairway isn't helping much either.
Course is very open and not busy. You can had a deal for very cheap. Literally the price of an XL range bucket. Why not just practice on a course. A full length one too at 6400 on the blues.
However for under $20 to walk is worth it if you just want to work on your game. Course layout has potential for the future though.
I selected NO for recommendation if recommending to an avid golf friend. To a friend just starting out, I would definitely recommend it.
not bad for a new course
greens were in good shape , tee boxes and fairways need work. if properly taken care of in the next couple of years , could have potential.
Empire Spring Golf Club
Driving Range or Empire Spring Golf Course? Yes, I'll pick the course for the money I paid for. Will I come back? I'm not sure unless I'll get the same deal from Golf Now and won't get any other options.
Staff is friendly and I'm pretty sure that this golf course gets the client tail who don't mind playing there.
Recommend this course as alternative to driving range...
Oh, forgot to mentioned, I'm not sure why the sand rucks are placed in sand bankers at this course there is no use to it....no sand at all....
Great Value
You won't find a 6500 yard course at this price anywhere in Ontario. The staff is a very kind family and the course has a certain family-run and operated charm to it. Will definitely return. Good place to get in a quick 18.
Nice and friendly links style course
While it doesn't actually put the golf ball in the hole for you this is a nice and forgiving course. Links style and not a lot of trouble to get into on this course. Some water, a few bunkers and some out of bounds but nothing that really intimidates. Great learning or casual round course. Wonderful staff. It is also fairly new and well maintained as a course.
Should be off the list.
May be it was hot deal from GolfNow.com, owner did not seem too happy, as he let us wait for half an hour even though first tee box was empty. First time played there, and too many times lost the way to next hole. Terrible course layouts.
Very rude staff(guess owner).
Ruined my family outing of Canada day.
Never ever play here again.
Should be off the list of golfnow.com.

This is a very disingenuous review as Mrs Yoon's group was asked to leave after ignoring several warnings thoughout the day about abusing the golf course and finally the cart.
The reasons for escorting them off the course were made clear to them at the time.
Terrible Ownership;
Arrived at the course at 6:45am for my 7:30am tee time as a single; By the time I get my clubs on my cart, put my shoes on, and walk up to the club house it is 7:00am; I am the only person there: There are no cars in the parking lot, the only face I have seen is the woman standing at the register; I say "I am here for my 7:30 tee time, but there is no one else here, so I am just going to tee off now if thats ok". She responds "No, you have to tee off at 7:30 because we have regulars". I respond "Your telling me you want me to wait around until 7:30, even though there is no one else here". She responds, "Well if you were my customer I would let you tee off now, but you are not, you are Golfnow's customer". At this point I am in complete shock of her ignorance. She doesn't realize that even though I paid Golfnow, I am still her customer. I am playing her course, and my interaction is with her. Why would I play this course again or recommend it to someone else if this is their attitude?
So I wait around to 7:30am; No one else shows up; I tee off and shoot the lowest score of my life; Given it is a very easy course; Bunkers are full of weeds; Fairways are full of weeds and dead grass; Greens were perfect, if not a little brown; Finish in 2 hours and 30 minutes
My point is this: my interaction with the person I assume to be the owner of the course was so terrible that it superseded what turned out to be a pretty good day of golf. I can't recommend this course to anyone else.
empire
Course was in good shape for time of year, still a little brown and rough in some areas. greens were smooth and ran consistant, very strong winds and cold temps made it tougher than usual.
Nice open Layout
I enjoyed playing the course as my first time out. Course has some long holes but given it is new it is very open and forgiving. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, facilities were great.
would love to play there again
cow pasture
Cow pasture at mean owners terrible greens, worse fairways rough never cut can never find ball because of weeds
The worst course my partner and I ever played.
The worst course my partner and I ever played and we should of gotten our money back.
Great Value , Fun for most skill levels
Great value, nice relaxing somewhat challenging round of golf , fairways still need to mature , but the greens are excellent and well layed out.
Greens good and fair
As a young coarse it has fair potential for beginners it is pretty compact in spots. Price not bad
Needs alot of work
The fourth hole had a temporay green that was brutal. The rough was uneven patches of dirt, weeds and crab grass. The fairways had no bounce and greens were so soft I was able to stick a 4 iron.
This course is fun to play
This course has a nice balance of holes making it fun some easy and some challenging especially 18. Greens are large without crazy slopes not fast but very consistent so good for putting. The fairways do need more water maintenance slightly thicker grass and bunkers were too stiff but on this design on a not old course it has the opportunity to become a premium popular Hamilton course. Very good course for new players and high handicaps.
Thanks for a very amusing and informative review! I'm sure this will prove helpful for new guests.
