Nice course for a quick 9
This course is perfect for a quick 9 holes. It's not extremely difficult, and good for a beginner to an advanced player.
Great Short Course
This is a great course if you are just looking to get in a quick 9 holes. Walked the course in the afternoon in about an hour and 45 minutes. Not a difficult course by any means, but a great course to play if you are looking to get some wood/driver work off the tee into a wedge/short iron 2nd shot (never used a long iron on the entire course). Hard to tell fairway from "rough" at some points (as the "rough" is actually really short) but the condition of the course is great for a short, park district owned course. Also a great place to bring the youngsters who are just starting out. The course also has a short 3-hole practice area when you can teach your kids the game.
IT is what it is
To be fair this isnt a real golf course..its a practice course for the first tee..
But rated as a real golf course its not good at all..
I dont know why anyone would ever bring a driver here the longest hole is less then 300 yards..
This is a place to work on your iron play and finding fairways..if you slice at all there are no trees or woods to worry about you wont have a second shot as your ball will bei n the street or in the back window of a house unplayable..
I use the practice facility which is top notch..the practice course is kind of sad though
Recoommend for kids and seniors or for practice if you have little time and live in the area
