always a mixed bag at Stonecrest
I always enjoy my rounds at Stonecrest. with 3 nines, it never gets old. The greens are beautiful, smooth and fast. The layout is great, especially the North Course. Stonecrest only lacks funding to be a great course. The fairways are spotty, bare, weedy and poorly maintained. plan on rolling it in the fairways for the most part. Bunkers were decent and around the greens conditions are good. No cookie cutter holes here, every one has a unique personality. The atmosphere in the clubhouse is friendly and snacks are available as well as a full bar...If you overlook the fairways, Stonecrest is a great bargain.
