Where is the grass?
Played an outing at this facility. I had checked out the satellite image beforehand and it the grass was very barren on the fairways. Unfortunately, it was the same in person. Most of the bunkers were unplayable. The greens were good, but it’s not enough to make up for the rest of the course condition. If I was a member here, I’d be looking for a refund.
Moore Golf
Course layout is very average and the greens are always very soft which creates numerous divots, Greens are ALWAYS in need of rolling, but staff seldom rolls greens. Bunkers are poorly maintained and very inconsistent, seems like every bunker has a different type of sand/dirt, especially on #15. Many trees have been cut down recently and stumps have been left. Course has a lot of potential if maintenance was a priority. Grill has the basic hotdog and hamburgers. Pool area is nice but no alcoholic beverages are allowed and is only open for 3 months no matter what the temperature. Members are friendly and generally always have a nice turnout for the men’s league and member tournaments and member dues are very affordable .
