Red Course
Under construction - green fee should be adjusted!
Sunday afternoon...
Wide open - flew around the course, never pushed & only encountered a few groups. My playing partner & I were able to hit two balls off each tee. They have 27 holes, unfortunately they have altered the course once again just so they can shove a few additional home lots in & have absolutely ruined the "Red" 9 - avoid this 9 if at all possible - for $21 including cart still a great value.
HiMark gets low marks
Course was in disrepair. Tons of garbage (leafs, spent grass clippings) on the greens. Quite a few bare spots. Course directions and paths were very confusing. Most paths were in disrepair. All was unusual for a course that was well kept a few years ago. Staff was friendly, and course was challenging. You will need to stay in the fairways on this one!
Ridiculously Hard
Some of the holes are so difficult it's practically a joke. The roughs and fairways weren't mowed, leading to lost balls that shouldn't have been lost. Not a good experience for me, but a lot of Lincoln residents love this course.
in good condition.
Good quality course with some very challenging holes but also ones made for scoring.
Nice place to play
HiMark was is good condition and having the three 9 hole tracks to choose from was nice.
Very nice.
Each of the three nines offer different challenges and different thinking to score well.
General Review - I play Hi-Mark at least every other week if not more...
Hi-Mark is one of my most frequented courses in Lincoln, NE. Consistently have good rates and the course is kept in good condition throughout the year. Currently has 36 holes, and are working on a 4th 9 I believe scheduled to open 2016? White and Blue are the best 9's currently, Red has been re-worked in the last couple years and is getting back into good condition again. Greens are kept in good shape, and while are not all extremely challenging, they still make you work. Overall great course, and I think the best value in Lincoln.
Awesome course.
Had an amazing afternoon at Himark. Played the white and red courses. All holes were in great shape and very challenging. Whether it was the accuracy off the tee or club selection on approach or lining up the puts. All aspects of the game are required on this course. Plus the scenery is beautiful. Lots of hills and trees and water. Definitely will play here again next time I'm in Lincoln. Its on my top 3 favorite courses I have played. And I lived and golfed in Arizona for 5 years. This ranks right up there with the Tucson courses, including Arizona National.
Good value
Good value. Play white and blue course if possible
Good Value
Booked a hot deal through Golf now for a two some. Several groups at the first tee and shop didn't call any of the groups off, it was a mess getting started, but play picked up after this. The rest of the day played smoothly. The course was in good condition for the time of year. The bunkers were crunchy and hard to play out of. Will definitely play here again if they continue to offer such great deals, competitive tee times.
fun course
I enjoyed the course very much and will come back.
Good Time
Was the first time i played it and it was pretty good, i live in Omaha area so the drive to play somewhere new was worth it. Great pro Shop guys! very friendly. nice public course, want to play the red course next time. can't wait for spring and see what its like all green.
Dismal end of season experience
I understand the lack of enthusiasm from the staff as the season winds down but this was stunningly bad! On a 27 hole track my partner and I received NO guidance as to what courses we should play. Signage was sorely lacking throughout directing a first time visitor from tee to green. When I walked in I made the comment that 2 weeks ago I had played the Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Tucson, one of the staff remarked "this ain't Dove Mountain". That, my friends, is the understatement of the year. Never again!!!!!!
Nice course
Got a great deal of GolfNow. Course was very nice shape although they are in middle of some minor course re-construction.
Fun Course, Great Value
I think this is one of the best values in town. A fair challenge, well maintained, fair pricing, even better if you book on golfnow.
Fun course
Enjoy 27 different holes to play. Very good shape. Challenging but not over the top.
Great *BANG* for the buck!
Im from Kansas City and drove up to Lincoln to play with my brother in law. I found Himark on golfnow.com and gave it a try. The course is in great shape, the greens are very well maintained, and the staff is friendly. I will be back...
This course has way to may pesticides and flies
They could have at least spared the course with some pesticides like most other courses. Flies where everywhere and could not even put nor concentrate
challenging
was good service, great course challenging greens... the only downside was , I played as part of a two some and we followed a foursome that final let us play through after the fifth hole to catch up on the next tee with a fivesome who refused to let us play through ..... should of have some course general directing the speed of play...
