Played White and Red courses on the 4th then Blue on the 5th
I set up a tee time on Golfnow.com for 3 on the 4th, which would be more expensive, and got it for $37.00 with cart!! This was awesome BUT I figured the course was probably your typical municipal course that was less than in good condition. When we arrived at the course it was very clean but not obvious where the pro shop was. Once we found it I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and more than willing to answer all questions. I told them this was my first time playing here and that I was visiting from Colorado. They said to play the White and then Blue course because the Red course was going through a bit of a design change because of some homes being built. We played the White course and we were blown away by the fantastic condition of the course and the immaculate greens! The greens were small to medium sized but had a lot of undulation to them and they were pretty quick! Lots of water on all 3 courses but shouldn't really come into play if you are on! This course has a lot of trees and the rough is deep if you get into it BUT is fun for all levels of golfers! I could go on and on but I will stop! If you are travelling through Lincoln I would highly recommend playing here and you will enjoy all three 9 hole courses. The ONLY negative I could think of is that the carts are very very slow but hey who is in hurry on this gem of a course!!
There is a very affordable restaurant next door with great food and a very nice putting and chipping area right next to the first tee box! The driving range is a bit odd but not bad. Spend the day out here and play the White and Red course then go have lunch THEN play the blue to wrap up a great day!
A good value for an interesting, fun course
I initially booked for two players, and called the course shortly after and asked if we could make it three - and was told "no problem - absolutely". Upon arrival at the pro shop, one young assistant struggled with the computer/cash register and then the senior staffer in charge wanted to know who answered the phone and told me that I could modify the reservation. How should I know? The first tee was clear and there was no crowd behind us, so it shouldn't have made any difference. After several minutes, they honored the rate for all in the threesome, and we had a very enjoyable round. We will definitely visit again.
COURSE IS GREAT SHAPE
THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND FUN TO PLAY.
IT WAS OUR FAULT THAT WE PLAYED ON SUCH A WINDY DAY, BUT STILL HAD FUN.
a great golf value from any teebox
play it from the tips or from the forward box, this course is a lot of fun. Bring your A game and you'll really like it, your C game will equate to a variety of penalty shots. Even though the blue nine is a bit tricked up, the challenge still requires most every club in your bag. We really love this course
