You get what you pay for
It's fine for a cheap 18 with a cart. I played the white course from the white tees. The tee boxes are in rough shape. Fairways and greens are in average shape. Bunkers either standing water or cement pits. Unpaved cart paths are very uncomfortable to traverse. Our cart squealed and sputtered the entire round. It was also full of trash when we picked it up. There's a blind tunnel between, I think, the 3rd green and 4th tee box. It's only wide enough for 1 cart at a time. The problem is that it's a shared path for players coming to the home stretch on the back 9. We almost collided with another group. The tunnel was also flooded with 4 to 6 inches of standing water.
The layout is pretty nice. Some tight tee shots and some wide open ones. Some challenging elevation changes and sneaky hazards. You really have to play the contours of the terrain. It was was warm and dry and the fairways were bouncing hard and running hot. Expect to donate a ball or two to the course if you're a mid to high handicapper. Had a short par 3 that made for a nice confidence booster. Staff was friendly and proactive. There was a group holding up play and they moved them along. They even came out to every group behind them and apologized.
Overall it's probably what you would expect for the price point. I got a "hot deal" for $32. Unlikely to return, but glad I took the chance to play it.
Decent course
The fairways and greens were in great condition. Tees were rough and uneven. Cart paths were rough. Red course is challenging with a lot of blind shots and hazards. Distances on some signs seemed off the mark. Holes not well marked…lots of driving from tee to green. Pace if play was great, but course wasn’t too busy. Good value overall if you know where you’re going. Overall, I would recommend if you’re looking for a challenging course.
Great Layout!
This course is set in a very nice location. The back nine of the white course is a bit rough to drive with the cart paths in bad shape. But nice holes to play!
Not bad for this time of year
Soo the lower scores are more reflected of the current conditions of the course which have been effected by cold weather and not a whole bunch of moisture in the air recently, I will say not many courses are in good shape this time of year but over all it was a nice course and I’ll play it prob 15 more times this year!
First Golf of the Year
This was my first round of the year in March. Grass was still dead from winter, not the course’s fault. Greens had a few rough patches, but not too bad. The bunkers were all very dry, they should be refilled. The clubhouse and bathrooms inside were nice and clean. The only food available was chips and candy bars. Beer was cold and they had a deal for a 6 pack. Overall a challenging but fun course. Will be better once the spring turns things green. I recommend they add more food to the clubhouse.
