About
Hereford offers an 18-hole municipal course that is easy to play and is in good condition. The staff at Pittman has a reputation for continuously trying to improve the course, so the golf experience gets better and better. This beautiful little layout features wide-open fairways and small greens of medium speed. Water comes into play on only a few holes.
Getting there : From I-27 south, take I-60 west and exit Main St. Look for the course on the right side of the street.

Course is in excellent condition for the summer
The course is in excellent condition for the summer that we are having with the hot dry temperatures. Will plan on playing it again soon
Nice round
My wife and I played a round on the way to Colorado. The staff was very helpful and nice. Course was good shape, the greens were in excellent shape.. would definitely play here again.
Great course
Had a great time out at John Pitman Golf Course in Hereford. The pace of play was excellent—we never felt rushed or backed up, which made the round really enjoyable. The course itself was in great condition, especially considering it was recently aerated. You can tell they take pride in keeping it maintained.
The staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish, which always makes a difference. Overall, a solid experience and definitely a course I’ll keep coming back to.
Great value and great greens
Super friendly staff. Course has the typical bare spots in the fairway as most courses do in the area but the layout and greens are some of the best in the area. Great value for the money

Other than grass being yellow because it's mid December, course plays great.
The greens were over watered. It hadnt rained and was sloppy mess around the greens
Heaven on Earth
I LOVE this course. It has some difficulty and a variety of play within the 18 hole course. The staff is always friendly and you can tell they love golf as much as the players who play there do. The carts have Bluetooth and have the course information, yardage and an electronic scorecard. I usually play with the deals through various websites and it tends to be the cheapest place to play but the course is 100 times better than any other courses in my area. I have played here when it’s empty and when it seemed to be the only thing anyone wanted to do that day but the pace of play was good and everyone is pretty good at allowing other to play ahead of they are a slower player. I’m fairly new to golf but have enjoyed learning on this course. Great Place!

Can’t believe that carts where the nicest thing about this golf course, club house was not it, course has a lot of potential, just needs a staff to maintain course, I will try back in the summer maybe it was a winter thing
Yes they were, that was my mistake. Went on a week long vacation and had the irrigation turned up too much out of caution. Please come play again.
