Alpine Golf Club
About
The Alpine Golf Club is a fun little 18-hole public course, good for the beginner and loaded with birdie holes for even the average golfer. You’ll need to hit it straight because of the tree-lined fairways, but nailing the driver off the tee is not a requirement and you’ll be in good shape on many holes with a solid 4 or 5 iron for
Watch out for No. 9 when you play from the back tees, which you’ll probably do instinctively when you see the measly 6,001 yards on the scorecard. At 240 yards, many will need to use the driver. In fact, shortening the hole would not only make it more forgiving, but allow for a more reasonable pace of play. This one is long, but the other par 3s play 120, 120, and 160 yards, respectively.
Bring a hard hat because the course is crammed together, making errant shots a real hazard for the leisurely hacker. However, the course is easy to walk, plays rather rapidly, and is in great condition, making it well worth the while for visiting golfers.
Getting there : From I-20, take the Eastman exit (Hwy 259), drive north over Hwy 80, and turn right at the second traffic light (Alpine).

sad shape
The parking lot was the first clue. Second clue was the club house. Third clue was the first tee. Clues that this was not the greatest course we ever played. But they did have soap in the ball washers with towels.
East Texas Golf
Short course, not too many hazards. Carts are in disrepair. Staff very friendly. Good value.
Golf
Golf was great.. cart paths could use some work . Ball wash stations need soap in them. Out of bounds markers need replaced .Overall good time..
Great course perfect for those who want a nice roung
Everything was nice walked in gave my name and the golf carts were outside waiting for my party of 4. Had a great golf experience
Average course, some narrow fairways, some water hazards
Enjoyed my round. price was good and course in fairly good shape. for this time of year. Will play it again.
so so course
Difficult to see fairways on some holes. Not a lot of green fairways
Lots of fun
The current staff has made lots of improvements. The pace of play was great. Enjoyed the round!
Nice fairways
Great course for a seasoned player. Very nice fairways. The greens are fairly quick but overall I great course to play
Alpine
The course presents a great challenge, however the cart paths need alot of work. The carts themselves are in bad shape also.
Great for beginers
My wife and I both are duffers and found the course dated but fun to play. The holes are not long and the greens were in good shape. This was our first time to play there ( we live about 60 mile out of town)and most likely will play it again.
Course would be easy to walk.
Mystic Creek Experience Stay & Play Package
This place is terrible. I think one person works there and they are morons. They have no idea whats going on and the facilities are garbage. This is like the golf course time forgot. STAY AWAY!!!
