Only problem was pace of play.
Pace of play was slow. We got paired up with two other golfers. Luckily they were a good time. It took us 5 hours to play 18 holes. There were two groups in front of us and they pretty much set the pace. There were a ton of Marshalls on the course but the pace was never changed you just felt like you were being watched.
Still waiting on Golf Now reimbursement
I was charged $404 for an 18 hole round for 4 players on Sunday 5-3-26, but had to reschedule to earlier in the day. Our initial tee time was 1:50P (for 4) but I rescheduled to 7:50A for 2 players several days in advance. When will I be reimbursed for rescheduling our tee time.
Green
Course is is great condition, and grass is lush and green. Lately have seen attention to details. Wish people would fix their own divots though. Staff are always helpful with customers.

Challenging but fun track
Early Spring Round
Found a great HOT DEAL, was skeptical because last time I played (1year 1/2 ago ) course was in horrible condition. Thats been fixed, course is in pretty good shape for this years weather conditions. Front nine played quick, then hit a road block on 11. Called the starter to ask if I could replay the front rather than sitting every hole waiting, they were very understanding and off I went . Played 18 in a little over 3 hours
First time
Fairways were cut so short felt like hitting off concrete. Pace of play was a mess 5 hour 20 minute round. Staff was incredible and the bar and grille bartender was awesome. Been in Texas for a month from Kansas City so was so hopeful to become a member may give it another try
Thank you for the review. Sorry about Saturday we did have a few slow groups slow the course down which is not typical for Tempest. We employ marshals every day but sometimes it still happens on a busy Saturday. Also the fairways were cut for the first time this season Friday which may explain being a little firm. Come back and see us.
The Tempest
The improvement on fairways are good and needed. Greens were good. Cleaning up the creeks on hole 8 plus others were a good idea.
Tempest GC
The course was very interesting with several blind shots and very hilly. It was a cool and windy day that made it a little more challenging but it was a lot of fun. The pro shop, restaurant and locker room were all very nice and well maintained.
Green
The course is consistently improving and the best conditioned in the area. I play weekly all over ETX and always enjoy Tempest. See ya next time.
Great course for the price on GolfNow
Great layout, fairways were nice, greens were in above average shape but a little slow. Sand traps had small rocks in them but other than that it was well worth the trip.
