About
Bosque Valley is a well-maintained 9-hole course that is mentioned at the top of the list for its kind in Texas. Situated 50 miles west of Waco, this quaint, casual course rests along the Bosque River and features mature oak trees lining its narrow fairways. The greens are small, of average speed, and putt true.
This 3,054-yard par 35 does not require length, but accuracy is important because of the overhanging trees. Water impacts play on two of the final three holes, and while the course starts out fairly wide open, you’ll soon learn to be aware of the impact of the trees.
Getting there : From I-35, take Hwy. 22 west to Meridian. Look for signs to the course in town. Turn left on Hwy. 1991 and drive 2.5 miles to the course.

Country Beauty
Pretty little 9 hole country course with a brook that meandered through the course. The course was in great shape with greens in excellent condition. The folks there very friendly and pround of their course as well they should.
Heart of Central Texas
Nice little 9 hole course with a great layout located in the heart of central texas. New carts available for rental. Every 3 holes comes back to the clubhouse in case you need a beverage or two. First 3 holes are somewhat easy, but the next 6 are quite challenging. Especially if you miss the fairway. Lots of trees, native areas, Audubon areas. Back nine plays a little bit longer with the tees anywhere from 10-20 yards back.
Honest review
Two years ago the course was in pretty good shape, the greens were well taken care of and they looked similar to the pictures on golfadvisor. Today, I disliked the course because there was a significant about of sand on the greens and they began to water the greens after we finished hole one. They did not inform us of the watering and we should have been warned when paying for the round. In my opinion, only 3/9 greens today were playable because of the sand and bare patches. We eventually left half way through.
