Tejas Golf Course

Tejas is a fun 9-holer that allows you to play all day for one green fee, offering two sets of tees for a different look on round two. The par 36 layout plays to 2,957 yards, and features the standard mixture of par 3s, 4s, and 5s. The design features confidence-building par 4s, all barely over 300 yards, as well as a 433-yard par 5. The longest hole is No. 3, a 533-yard par 5. This one is a hacker’s paradise–minimal hazards, short holes, all for a nice price.

Getting there : From Stephenville take Hwy. 281 north past the loop and Washington St. to Golf Course Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, and look for the entrance on the right side of the street.
