The Links at Cadron Valley Golf & Country Club

It was only $15 is never the way you want to answer somebody when they ask “How was the course?” But that’s the gist of why you would play here. The bunkers were poorly maintained, some were just rocks. It had just rained, so not fair to judge the ones that were ponds, but even the ones that weren’t were in poor shape. The greens were very blah, all almost the exact same. The layout wasn’t bad, but overall I’d not recommend this course, even for only $15.

While holes 1 and 2 were fine and decently taken care of with good greens, 3-9 were abysmal. From fairways being so soaked with mud from sprinklers that it is ankle deep to bunkers completely comprised of large rocks, this course is neglected.

The course has an interesting layout with great white tee distance. The par 3s are very good......one over water 100 yards..... island green. The staff and players were friendly. I used a GPS phone app to keep score and club yardages. I got a diet coke and Powerade after 4 holes. It was fun.

Always a fun time at the Links! The are always friendly. My brother and I play there regulary. The course is looking better and better considering the wet winter and spring we've had. Some areas that have been boggy and wet are now dry. Very well maintained. Love it
