The Country Club of Arkansas

Some greens are being repaired, but tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. The course has some great water hazards and bunkers. I really like playing here.

There is very little grass on the greens. The putting surfaces are compacted dirt. Every hole has less than 50 % grass. I have never seen such a thing. The putting surfaces ate terrible. If you play here, go to practice getting to the green. Putting is terrible.

Play was less than anticipated since I was still recovering after being released to play after back surgery. Only played 14 holes.

Course was challenging. Fairways were smooth. Rough was thick but not over grown. Pretty nice course all together

Played this course a few times a year and it’s always been one of my top choices. After my previous experience I don’t think it will be a quick return for me or my golf parteners. Really sad to see the quality of this course now…

Course was decent for this time of year, but greens were pretty disappointing. Overall pretty decent.

The course itself is really nice. Unfortunately the greens were awful. Hopefully they will get better as it warms up.

I arrived 30 minutes prior to my tee time, and was told they didn’t have enough carts, and that I would have to share a cart with a complete stranger. I don’t mind playing with others or a group, but not riding with them. I left with no apology or anything. I payed for a cart, not for sharing a cart.

I tried calling GolfNow numerous times with no success. I would like a refund on the money I paid but lost.

The title says it all. I’d avoid playing till they fix them.

We brought the fun and had a blast once wee got on the course.

I get to play a lot of golf and we had just played at the Cowboys Club in Dallas where they treat you SO nice -- really upscale. This was the opposite. We were definitely outsiders and in this guy's way.

I know he's not an @$$ to everyone because a local regular came in and they had a great time!

It reminded me why I don't play at CCofAR very often -- life's too short.

I was impressed with the course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good shape. Got a late start so I didn’t take in the pro shop but will next time. Look forward to playing again

Great course, behind some slow players but the weather was great. Course was in good shape.

Me and my buddy both booked our own tee time for 12:54 today. (Both have two young kids with us) We got there and even tho we both booked our own tee time(which comes with a cart included with each greens fee) they decided they were going to charge us $40 for an extra cart fee which is insanely high when the normal greens fee is $55. So therefore we had to pay for both our greens fee and then a $40 cart fee on top of that. Most places charge $15 for cart fees. $40 is nuts.

Love this course, have gone several times. Usually charge $15 for an Extra cart, which is fair. Most courses I’ve been to in Arkansas are $15 or less. Today unknowingly walked into a $40 extra cart fee. Basically had to pay $40 extra to golf because me and my buddy have kids, Kindve whack. Especially since my round was half that(which included half a cart.) Really takes the value out of this course for me. I pretty much always have my kids when I golf. Guess I’ll be going here a little less often.

Driven by this course many times and wanted to play it and thought it might be to tight fairways. Plenty of room, peaceful and it was nicely layed out.
