Nice short course especially on a hot day
Course it's not too hard not too easy good for a old guy like me.
Great value
Fun course with average layout. Value is the best part here and nice people. Lots of kids playing during the weekdays.
Horrible pace of play- Otherwise excellent course!
Got paired up with a family of 3 teaching their 11 year old how to play. We all played every ball right to the cup. And we still spent the whole round riding the group in front of us. On some holes I stood at the tees for 5 minutes or more watching these guys hack and slice up the fairway. And they almost caught the 3 ahead of them. If you read the reviews and bring your patience however, the grounds are immaculate, and the short holes offer an interesting challenge.
Victoria Valley - no marshal = slow play
Overall course conditions are always excellent, which is great because you'll spend a long time standing around looking at the grass and trees. A par 62 should never take over 4 hours. So if slow play is the death of enjoyable golf, then this place is the funeral home. There is no marshalling, ever! As a result, lots of standing around waiting for groups ahead of you to take 8 shots just to get on the green of a par three. If you are used to the length and pace of a par 72, it's best you avoid this course otherwise, if you do go, pack a lunch and maybe a lawn chair.
Great course
Very good little course, great condition and layout. Green is fast in good shape, its a little gem and fit all levels… i highly recommend it.
Aeration to greens?
Small ruts from aerators made putting very poor and cost shots by ball staying in ruts or bouncing as a result. Very poor quality and I’ve never seen greens like it so I’m guessing it was an oversight????( was on every green)
Short
Good condition. Got this mixed up with the East course. It's very short. Not worth the drive from hamilton. Will play the east course though. If the conditions are the same I'm excited.
