Hidden Gem
I’ve played most of the courses in Arkansas, private & public, and this one is definitely in my top 10. Everything about the Red Apple resort was far better than what I expected to find. The greens are in fantastic shape, fairways plush, and the bunkers raked and fluffy. You don’t normally find that in Arkansas and you can tell there’s a lot of work taking place. I’ve play a lot of courses in my years, from Torrey Pines to TPC Sawgrass, and Red Apple didn’t disappoint. It’s an absolute Gem. I can’t wait to go back and stay at the resort and play a couple of rounds with my wife.
Great Course!
They care about the course and do a lot to keep it the way it looks! It’s a challenging but forgiving in spots course. Extremely fun!
Day trip from 501
Drove an hour to play, it was worth it. Greens are 10/10, rolling true. Fairways weren’t perfect but it did rain two days prior to round. Weathers heating up so this course will be pristine in the months coming. Guy at the pro shop was cool as can be, carts were also very nice. Overall great experience. Shot 84.
Greens were top notch.
The greens were impeccable. Some of the best around.
Top notch course
Yes golf course is in great shape. They have been doing many updates and have the greens looking amazing. The speed of play is good most of the time we play a couple times a week and it is our first choice.
Great course
Greens and fairways are always great, bunkers could use a sifting but its also arkansas with lots of rocks haha. Play here often and will continue to do so!
Nice course. Nice greens.
Greens were in great shape. A nice course. Conditions were solid, but some tee boxes were in rough shape, some fairways were deadpan in spots, and some bunkers were rock heavy. However, greens were in great, great shape. At $50, a nice course and a great value. Challenging from the red tees (6,000 yards) for a 14.8 handicap. I shot an 86. Would certainly play again and recommend to a friend.
