Great day on Links and Cliffs

Played both Links and Cliffs on same day with caddy Neil (he's awesome and a turbo energizer bunny... couldn't keep up with him!). Went off at 7am on Links, played in 3.25 hrs. Course in great shape, greens were tricky, but true and fast.

Played Cliffs at 3pm as a single as well (3 hr round), played through 5 groups. Scenery and most holes are fantastic. The final 3 (16-18) will blow your mind.

Fairways were very firm and bouncy, with lots of run and some odd bounces. Greens were very firm but a tad slow due to their newness. While it was supposed to be limited play this year, management is letting just about everyone play Cliffs if they want.

Minor gripes... no hot tubs to sooth 60+ yr old back and legs after two walking rounds in 1 day. Reservations made in April got screwed up, but they straightened everything out ok. Restaurant has no quick take away food for early tee times... had to wait 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and almost missed my tee time, so had no opportunity to warm up.

Will definitely go back in a couple of years to play again once Cliffs has matured a bit.

Please correct location of course, It is in Cape Breton NS NOT Halifax which is a 4 hour drive from Halifax. This is a major difference .
