There is no doubt that Halmstad's Northern Course is the best one in Sweden! The tees are very large and well groomed, the greens and fairways are always in perfect condition. The course is also very interesting and a real challenge from championship tees. There are two holes that always are voted the best two or three holes in Sweden - the 12th 435yds par 4 (club tee) A fairway that slopes away from you and water in front of green demands a strategy. The 16th par three. a wide "river" runs diagonally across the fairway. The wind carries the ball to the water - but since the green is guarded by trees, you will not see the wind!
As a bonus - the southern course is regarded as "the most underrated course in Sweden" by Golf Digest.
A perfect day: 18 holes , hit the beach, enjoy a beer and live music at the Hotel Tylosand, and then another 18 holes in the afternoon!
