Rude Employee and Gopher mounds everywhere
I was excited to play a longer 9 hole course as most of the course in Redding are short 9 holes. Anyway, I pulled up to what seemed to be a nice facility to only walk into the club house and meet a rude lady behind the counter. She was extremely short and rude and I was a bit shocked. the was an older lady with Dirty Silver Blond hair. Anyway, I decided to play and was dissapointed again. The fairways hadnt been cut in probably over a month and my ball ended up in dirt even though I hit down the fairway. The only thing that is nice about this course are the Greens. Stay out of the bunkers as its not sand but decomposed granite with rocks in it. Because of how rude the employee was and the condition of the course I will never return.
A little cramped
Not a bad course but you always have to be wary of errant shots from other golfers. The place is wide open and the holes are right next to each other. It's just something else to think about on your backswing. Slow play can also be an issue.
Tucker Oaks is my favorite local course
Always a fun place to play, good people !!!! Easy to walk !!!
