Tiara Rado Golf Course

As a new resident of Grand Junction I was excited to play this highly touted City owned course. I was not disappointed! The setting in the shadows of the Colorado National Monument cannot be beat (although the late afternoon shadows on this 50 degree December day made it quite cool!). From the wonderful staff in the Pro Shop to the good pace of play as well as the conditions of the course for this time of year made it a great golf day!

Allways look forward to playing this course every time I visit GJ. Awesome deals! Especially with coupons. My brother and I played for $10 apiece! Course in good shape, greens rolling true. Great value!

We love playing this course and without golfnow there is no way we could afford it. The flow of play is scheduled perfect. The rock formations located around it are fascinating and grounds well maintained.

Tiara rado never disappoints, it has great layout good flow and excellent views against the monument! The greens were a little fast this round but what's golf without a challenge! If you're looking for a fun challenging course this is the one! Will

We started our round in a slight rain storm which quickly cleared then had a pause between our rounds for more rain. It cooled off nicely and we had a great round of golf!

The best city owned course ever played. Greater scenery too.

We really enjoyed our round at Tiara Rado! The weather was almost perfect with the exception of some gusty winds. The scenery is beautiful! It was a great day!

Very nice proshop and staff. A fine layout that is tight at times with parallel holes on the back. A lot of fun with some of the best views in town.

The front nine at this muni owned by Grand Junction is quite claustrophobic. There are houses and hidden irrigation/water runoff ditches to worry about. I had no clue what to hit off the seventh tee, a short par 4 pinched by trees, bunkers and the ditch. The back nine - thanks to a recent renovation - transforms Tiara Rado into big-boy golf, featuring brawny par 4s and lots of water. The short finishing hole would fit in better with the front nine. It's a forced layup and a flip wedge to a narrow elevated green. Such a lack of uniformity hurts the club in my eyes, but some golfers like the variety. What's not up for debate is the value. It's well kept for the rates they charge. Best of all, the views of the Colorado National Monument are in your face on a couple holes.

This is my home course, so I may be slightly biased, but regardless, this is an exceptional course. Well maintained, friendly staff and exceptional views.
The course is very tight on the front nine with out of bounds and housing close in. Back nine was redone a few years ago and is more open with water on nearly every hole. A challenge for every level of golfer, but not exceptionally long.
