A challenge course
It is a must-play course in your life-long golf journey.
A musr play course
10 out of 10 in all aspects! Overall condition is pristine and their 19th hole is top notch as well. I cant recommend it enough!
Amazing
The reason I love golf is because of moments like I experienced at Raindance. This was a dream come true for someone use to Southern California golf and crowds. Though it was an unusually cold spring day, not great for my swing, I was awarded with drives hitting the downslope giving me some of my longest yardage ever. An undeveloped skill I needed was with approach shots after those drives. On down slopes, and being from CA, and using high compression balls because of the cold, I frequently failed to de-loft my clubs and went over many greens. I would move here in order to play this course regularly! I am a little concerned if the mansion housing being developed will mar the ambience, because it was simply magical. I can’t imagine playing the tips, but as a 13-15 handicap I used the blue and white mix, though some of the island green, most time I am sticking to white.
Raindance Shines
Raindance National is truly fantastic.
Would play it again inna heartbeat. I’ve played half the public top 100 in the US, Raindance belongs on that list.
great challenge Make sure they have your time!
Really cool course. You need to be able to play target golf. You can NOT Spray the ball!
Showed up and they did not have my Golf Now reservation Thankfully I had my email confirmation
Interesting
This course is interesting and has some great difficult holes which I appreciate, however it lacks in being a finished product and the signage is terrible you will get lost a few times trying to find the next hole/tee box. I do like the practice facilities and the range was different but ok. Overall I will continue to try and play as they improve but $100 max is what I would pay!
Maybe New Favorite
My wife and I have played Raindance the past three weeks. With a drought in Colorado, Raindance is one of the few area courses allowing carts to be used with no restrictions. The courses is full of challenges with a number of ravines that require good carry distances. It also has lots of ups and downs, fortunately most par 5’s are downhill. The practice facility is first class with range privileges included in daily fee. The putting practice area is very large. We noticed over the three weeks, with some record high temps, the course is drying out quickly - hopefully rain/sprinklers will help avoid any serious damage to the course. Bottles of water are provided since there are no on-course water stations. The course restaurant/bar always seems to have customers; their big screens were showing March Madness games with enthusiastic patrons. May be my new favorite area course.
Top tier course with amazing views.
This course is pretty much perfect in every way. Tee boxes - amazing, fairways- amazing, greens- the best I've seen in a long time. I was running late for my tee time and contacted the course. The person who helped me changed the time and ensured I had a great experience. I wish you could buy a bucket of balls to use the grass range though. The golf balls are provided but the public are has mats.
Excellent Course
Raindance is well laid out and challenging. Undulating greens make for tough approach shots, not to mention the course being the longest in North America (just over 8400 yds from the tips which I did not play from). Very cool farm chic amenities. Will definitely be back.
Nice course execution could be better.
Nice course ill be back.
