Great value with challenging holes
I loved the variety of slopes and the challenging uphill and downhill greens. The course plays longer than its yardage suggests and is truly a hidden gem. I will definitely come back.
Great day - thanks
Staff is always friendly. Course was in good shape. Improvements on their way!!
Mad fun
First time playing Mad Russian, simple layout but very challenging greens and endless blind shots. I enjoyed the layout because it requires a lot of imagination and strategy to play.
The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and definitely added to the experience.
Improving for 2026
Things are getting better at the Mad Russian. There are new carts with GPS, a new upstairs patio, new tee boxes on some holes, and an always friendly staff. Course uses their own pond water for irrigation so the course is nice and green. Course is always fun to play. Play was a bit slow for a Tuesday, but finished in a reasonable 4.5 hours.
Good experience
The course is challenging and fun. Good shape for spring drought. Greens were good, tricky.
Excellent front range golf course
A hidden gem off the beaten path a bit but easy to get to. It’s a shorter course than most but still challenges you on each shot. Value for the golf was great. Plan to play there if in the area.
Not Child Friendly
Drove 100 miles from Cheyenne for a rare day with my wife and son. We were turned away breaking my son’s heart because he wasn’t old enough to ride on the cart with his mother. I have signed waivers in the past at much more prestigious and reputable courses. This place is a joke. My 3year old knows more golf etiquette than these clowns.
Turned away because I have a child
I have signed waivers at much nicer and more reputable courses. This place is shady rundown with a 3.9 I should have known
Monday morning golf
Arrived early and got setup for the round, I was able to check in on line. Practiced on the chipping green and waited for my tee time. The course was in good shape and there have been some improvement to the golf course. The round took about 4 hours which is not too bad. If you time it right you can finish in 3 1/2 hours. The greens are well maintained, not many rough areas.
Amazing!
What can I say this course is awesome as always!!! Love playing here!!!
Madd Russian is madd cool
Love this golf course! It plays great! It's fun, and has fun water features and interesting hazards. Start to finish was around 3 hours. Can't beat that. Would go again. Friendly staff.
Always Enjoyable
Have played Mad Russian quite a few times over the past couple of years. Staff is ALWAYS friendly, making you feel at home. Course still green and fresh. A few leaves were blowing on the course on a very windy day, making it a little challenging to find balls occasionally but crew was out cleaning them up. We recommend trying the course if you haven’t played there.
