Seven is an excellent hole that usually calls for a midiron into this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/22/2022

Red Course 9 holes
Considering the Red course was closed a few weeks ago due to torrential rain and flooding from the Farmington River, the course was in pretty good shape as witnessed by the maintenance staff's presence. The Golf Now deal was a good one but under normal conditions, that is, without the discount, I feel a little pricey.... my opinion only.
Great course for the novice or expert golfer.
Tunxis Plantation has three courses that offer 45 holes of golf. The red course is a nine hole course, the green and white courses are both eighteen hole courses. On 6/29/13 I played the red course. With all the rain we have had recently and more to come the course itself was in pristine condition. There was some water on the course but none in the main playing area. Didn't stop my ball from finding it tho. The course also acquired new carts recently but still do not have the GPS in them. The pace of play was moderate but seemed to move along just fine. It is definitely worth the price for playing here.
nice course
My only complaint was the starter sent a twosome out to the 5th hole to join a twosome who were playing in front of us. This disrupted the players behind them (myself included ). Backed up the field and took way too long to complete the 9 holes we were playing.
offers 3 different courses at one location on the same well-maintained faclilities
Golf facilities are wonderful!. Course has 2 eighteen holes and one nine hole course. That means lots of options. Play time is a good pace usually..The course conditions are well-maintained and currently in great shape. I try to play here once a week on a tues or wed..
Would recommend this golf course to any player nor matter what your handicap level is since you have many choices to challange your ability.
