Great course if you get the $5-$10 deal
Course was nice, with a laid back atmosphere. Not too many bunkers or water hazards (could probably use a few more). Numerous sharp dog legs. Greens were nice, with the most undulations I've come across in awhile. Course was well manicured, however when I went, there hadn't been good rain in awhile, so the ground was as hard as concrete, struggled to get a tee in the ground. I played here for the first time because of the deal that Golf Now was offering- $5 for 9 holes with a cart. It was the cheapest rate I've seen on here, so I jumped. As much as I don't really have anything negative to say, at the same time, there wasn't anything really special about it (aside from the $5 rate!). All in all, I'd play there again, but I wouldn't pay more than $10-$12 for 9 holes. It's a good place to get a few holes in at the spur of the moment, but not somewhere I'd make big plans to visit.
Fun course - Good challenge
Played the Saturday of Labor Day weekend in 106 heat index so no one else was out there in afternoon. The course has a great lay out, challenging dog legs, over water par 3, fun par 5's. Conditions were a little bad but its been hot. Coming from Chicago, I got a $13 dollar "hot deal" on Golfnow for 9 holes, and that can't be beat. I will definately come back for that rate.
