Greenview Golf Club

I read bad reviews on this course so I was a little worried. However, the condition of the course was very playable. The layout is awesome. It's what I wanted and the get away I needed. The staff is great, the price was very reasonable and I plan to play there again. I would recommend playing here for anyone who doesn't take themselves to serious and want to enjoy nature. Very good course.

I always enjoy playing at this course. As a senior golfer, my drives are not that long, maybe 200 yards. Fortunately with senior tees, fairway woods, hybrids are fine. Course was in great shape. Very friendly staff, very accommodating. Course book guides are available at n/c; very helpful how to play the course .

This was an embarrassment to the golf game. Terrible golf course. How long has this place been neglected. Not kidding. It was one of the top 3 courses I have ever played. Good luck!!!

I got a hole-in-one! Hole 17 par 3. I reported to staff and let them know I used GolfNow to book tee time. I have not heard anything from anyone since.

Hadn't played this course in over 20+ years so was looking forward to seeing if it had changed and how.

I left dissapointed and glad I didn't pay more than I did. Greens were burned out and patching in some areas with lots of weeds. Fringe and collars were crab grass or burned out. Fairways were brown. Tee boxes were rock hard and very patchy. Not a course I'll be coming back to in the near future. Cost was only $40, weather was perfect, and beer was cold are the only plus side items.

Course was in great shape. I played July 1st and 3rd. Course is very challenging at all tee levels. As a senior, course is not extremely long, but a premium is placed on shot placement. Staff at the course are great and very helpful. I have played this course 3 times, and will continue to, whenever visiting Southern Illinois.
