Willow Crest Golf Club

The course is in excellent shape with the exception of the sand traps. The greens were quick today, rolled very nice and very few ball marks. I like this course and it was an exceptional deal today.

No range, just a couple of nets for warm up (with some really old balls). The practice green was in great shape and reflective of the greens on the course - although with out as much undulation.

We were rained out, only got the front nine in.

I go here for twilight. Great price, great condition, and awesome staff. Really a great place to play. Golf course itself is fun and challenging. Short holes and long holes good diversity.

Although we played in the rain, this course was very enjoyable. Great layout and conditions. This is a gem.

WillowCrest is a well maintained, fun course with enough challenge for a low handicap golfer, but not too intimidating for higher handicaps.

The greens were fair and the bunkers relatively forgiving.

We played on a Sunday and the pace was good. We only waited on a few holes.

Nice level of challenge for the typical golfer without being over the top. Most of the par 3's require a accurate shot with little relief, so it makes them more fun!

Have played here several times. Course especially the greens always in good shape. Took 5:10 to play horrible No ranger , staff is always helpful and friendly. A little $$$$ . Will only play here if you can get a deal on golfnow. No way worth $70

Fall conditions but still in great shape. Greens are nice and slick (even after aerification). Definitely going to try and play here once more before the end of the season.

Came back to play the course after several years away. Good conditions for the time of year. Loved the challenging par three holes. Fun day.

The restroom in the course can be better managed and cleaned

We thought the course was in very good condition, greens had been aerated but rolled very well. Fairways in excellent condition. This is a challenging golf course, has some very good holes, and is fun to play.

Play is a little slow. 4some in front of us holding ip whole course. Rangers need to be more active. Greens have a lot ball marks

Greens were in good shape, faster and truer than average. Always a great course. Really nice that it is close to home as well.

The course is in great shape. We've played several different courses this summer, including a few in Myrtle Beach, and this was by far the best conditions.
The back 9, it seemed like people playing were a little more ignorant. There were divets on the fairways that weren't fixed, and stuff all over. That wasn't the course's fault. It's people, that don't normally play good courses. But overall, the course was great. Play was a little slow, we had to wait on almost every hole, but that's to be expected on a Sunday of a holiday weekend.

On the 18th Hole, a ball hit the middle of the sand and bounced right out onto the green. They are not keeping the sand maintained.

This is a well designed well maintained course. Challenging for all levels of golfer. Bring a collared shirt.

Holiday 18, early tee time worked out perfectly for today's round. 1st time playing the course despite the proximity to the house. I was surprised at the nice clubhouse and access to the place despite being connected to the hotel. Maybe it was low occupancy but we were on early and no one really pushing us or slowing us down. They have nets to warm up your driver, longer clubs and a nice practice green as well. I would definitely come back if they had specials. High $70s for a round is a bit much but course was in excellent condition and fair considering the set up. 6 different pin positions and only a few were unfair on our round. Ill be back.

Price is high for area, there are better values in the area. Will only play on special.

I've played this course many times. It's a good course but way over priced.

I was a single that booked on golf now. They made me play behind a very slow foursome when they easily could have had me play in front of them behind a two some.

They need a good starter and someone to speed up play.

If the course is empty this is not a problem. When it has players, the course is not worth it.

With 4 tee boxes to choose from you can select your own challenge. We used white and had a wonderful twilight outing.
I have stayed in this hotel for a weekend to attend a function when I wasn't playing golf yet. So to puzzle and add together both experiences, I must say this is a classy golf resort. Their golf staff are friendly and courteous right from the start of your golfing experience. They make sure your cart is clean, complete and ready.
Last fall was my 1st time to play here when there was obviously lots of leaves in the course and you could easily loose your ball. This time I was impressed with how clean the course was maintained. But I would suggest to management to warn golfers who leave their cigars and cigarette butts on the greens. They easily destroy the atmosphere.
Some of the greens are tricky depending on where they put the flag that day.
If you plan to have a golf weekend getaway without going way out of town, this is the resort.
