Etna Acres Golf Club

I enjoyed the front 9 layout and greens more than back 9. Front 9 has more elevation changes and the greens are older and more built up. Back 9 is more links-style golf and the greens are typically domed.

You are treated great here and the course conditions are very good for the price point. Well worth a play if in the area.

This was my first time to play Etna Acres and am looking forward to a return trip. The fairways are well maintained and due to recent rains the roughs were green and lush. The numerous lakes on the back nine were clean and willing to accept all my errant shots. If I have any complaint at all is that I would like to see color coded flags to show where the pin is located on the green. Make sure you try the cheeseburger.

This course is very surprising. After the first three holes wlook at hich can be seen from the road, there are a lot of elevation changes, blind holes and water.

I played the front nine once before a couple of years ago and can say the course has inproved. the greens are mostly large and many have considerable undgulation to them.
I was paired with a younger more skilled player, and we both found it enjoyable. He played the back tees while I played the center or silver tees. the access to the tee boxes hadplenty of short cuts and by passes for those frequent in the know players so that playing different tees was not cumbersome at all.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. the starter even rode with me to show me where to start since I started my round on the back nine,
My round was very quick, 2 hrs 20 min. this in part had to do with the multiple starting option available to the starter.

I will return to this course often and would recomend it.

Ownership needs to spend a little money to eliminate all the clover. Front much worse than the back. Back actually played decent.
