Fun course
We enjoyed our round here. We drove 45 minutes to this course. The course is challenging, small domed, fast greens. Lots of elevation changes. Fairways can be rough at spots. Overall a good time. We did get stuck behind a foursome, we were a couple, they would not let us through. When we brought it up after our round we were told some around there just don't know the rules of etiquette. We would have purchased food and beer at the turn, but Tom' was too busy talking to his buddies to help us, even after the other employee yelled for him to help us. I'm sure he would have been more attentive to one of his locals, doesn't seem to care for outsiders.
Sycamore
Very nice course even after all the rain and wind on Monday afternoon and overnight
great golf value with relaxing conditions
This was a great course for our game...enough wide fairways and lading areas for high handicappers. Course was in great shape and greens were superb and fast. Plenty of water and bunkers to make good shots a must. I liked that its out in the countryside with no homes around it so very peaceful playing conditions. We are going back today for a second round before we leave town. I would revisit Ft. Wayne area and play here again.
Late Fall Golfing
I play this course about once per month. I have played 25 courses this summer. The Sycamore course at Eagle Creek is in th ebest shape of all of them. The fairways and tee boxes are lush. Yes the first 5 holes are tough but the course opens and gives the novice golfer a good chance to score
Very fast hard greens
Out of the way country golf course. Staff incredibly nice. Course short, small greens. All greens crowned, great for your short game, very fast greens. I am a 3 handicap golfer and actually enjoyed the course because of the greens. Unlike any course in the area.
