Nice Layout
Great layout! Fairways are in good shape. Only complaint that kept me from rating 5 stars, the greens had a lot of dead spots but they rolled true. Staff was very friendly and I will definitely play again!
Friendly staff
Tee boxes and fairways great shape. Greens in rough shape!
Early Christmas present at Christmas Lake
I have always enjoyed playing at Christmas Lake GC. The two 9s are so different in layout.
What I enjoyed this time was the condition of the fairways. The ball "sits up" in the fairway and that is a treat.
The sand bunkers could use some help and a couple of greens had burned spots (probably the reason the greens were a touch slow, but not awful).
Excellent shape grains were great comparable to most screens in the area
I really love this course with a chance I get to play it. I brought somebody with you. I never played it before and he has already made teatime.
Good course to play
Christmas Lake is always a good place to play. Fairways were in excellent shape. Some of the greens were in trouble. GolfNow’s deals make it a great value.
Great course
Came here on a whim because I was done early. I was very impressed with course conditions. The greens did have some spotting but if I hit on the green my ball stayed despite the dry weather. I would play again.
Good Course
Play here the last few years, and it's always in good shape year round. Fairways are green and lush, and the greens roll true. Price is subjective, I think a bit high, but that's me. Recently they've gotten gps on the carts so that's always nice. I like playing here when I've got time for a full 18.
A little rougher than years past
Course was in okay shape. Not what expected for a place charging $75 on the weekends. Father’s Day round so can’t blame them for a packed course but tee times were not laid out well. A few greens have unplayable (spots?) on them but tight lies in the fairway with nice bunkers and tee boxes. Just wished to play a little faster and nicer conditions on greens.
Plays long even from not the tips.
Good Track
Christmas Lake Golf Course is a fine course, unfortunately it rained for a few days before our play. Cart path only. I will go back this summer ensuing the course is dryer.
Early round
Didn’t play great but will take an 87. 62 and played from green senior tees for first time. Suits my game better. Staff was all very friendly and lunch was delicious.
Enjoyable course even in tough conditions
I have played Christmas Lake dozens of times over the years. Today's round was sunny and 70 but the fairways were quite wet (cart path only and I lost two balls that plugged). Most of the traps were filled with water. The greens were slow and needed to be rolled. There was a 20mph wind too. All that said, no course in the area would have been in pristine shape after all of the rain and melt that we had.
I enjoyed myself and will be back again.
